GMC 1952-2018Change

I really enjoy driving this vehicle as it drives extremely smoothly. It is extremely spacious as it can comfortably fit seven passengers. It is perfect for families on the go and for riding in style. It has a bit of a sporty feel to it but is also quite reliable.

i have had it for several years now, I've never really had any problems with the engine. i find it isn't very fuel efficient and also very small inside. it drives very smooth and has excellent handling. the bed of the truck is pretty small but holds alot if needed. i am very happy with this truck

The GMC Terrain is a great family vehicle with enough space for kids and all their gear, but with enough pep that it's still a pleasure to drive. We have had more recalls that we'd like with this vehicle, which makes me wonder about the reliability, but overall it's been a great vehicle.

Beautiful looking car with great options. North American made which keeps the economy going. Great interior and feels like a glove when you sit in the drivers seat.

This Yukon has always been dependable. It has issues with the rear wiper motor and the warning system but most of the warnings are a fault of the system not the over mechanics of the vehicle. Like driving down the road and it tells you the left rear tire is missing. Ignore most of the warnings and this Yukon will last for a long time. We have over 500 k on ours and it is not slowing down yet!

This is a wonderful truck with great fuel mileage. We drove to PEI and back on a tank and a half of gas.

Super pleased with this truck, would recommend to anyone. it has been reliable and is super comfortable to drive.

The truck drives well and it is of the most importance to me. I love my truck almost as much as I love my wife

had it for over 7 years without any problems. So far so Good!! The exterior still looks like new after all those years and being on the road on daily basis .

Too bad GMC stopped making the Sonoma. Mine is still going strong despite a little rust and nearly 200k km. I've done very little to it over the years aside from replace a battery and bulbs. Not really a tough truck but it does get most jobs done. Wish I could buy another one in a couple years.

This Yukon is huge both inside and outside. It has way more bells and whistles that I'd like, but this comes with the Denali trim. (When these bells and whisles start malfunctioning one by one, the bill is going to be as huge as the vehicle.)

With just 11-15 liters per 100 km on a highway it's a great road trip appliance. With 25 - 30 L/100km in the city it is not a great choice for urban commute.

What I am missing the most is the reclining back seats and some quality in the cockpit: can't stand the squeaking of all the plastic at every turn.

Mechanically though I have no complaints. Everything is solid and everything works.

This truck is a smooth ride. Used to drive from home to university for a few years. Beautiful ride and feel. Truck has never spent time in the shop, never given me any troubles. Stored inside my heated garage and drove very little. Truck has always been keep in extremely clean condition. Never been in a fender bender or accident.

My husband wanted to buy an Envoy when we were on the market for a new vehicle. We found a 2006 that had 50000km and fit our budget. We have had the vehicle for 8 years. PROS: very comfortable seating, very dependable engine (we never had any problems with it at all), loads of great options, such as heated power seats, power sunroof, 6 pack CD changer, etc. CONS: it's a gas hog, some terrible blind spots, electrical problems from day one with steering wheel, door and some dash lighting, rear hatch window shattered, problems with rear window defogger constantly. But the worst was the Stabilitrak and 4x4, which stopped working properly a year after we bought it. Auto 4 wheel drive would make the transmission skip, low didn't work at all. In 4 high, made a grinding noise, but worked. While I liked the truck, I chose a different brand when purchasing my new vehicle.

We bought a 2010 SLT 1 Terrain in 2014 at dealership and it had 90K on it. It was everything I thought it would be and more! The styling of car, comfort, durability, interior space, drive, gas savings. We took it out on alot of roadtrips over 3 years and it really out performed my expectations. Unfortunately we recently lost it in an accident as we were hit by another car but interestingly enough my husband walked away from it unscathed. The car absorbed the total impact which was on the driver's side and left the inside intact although the car was deemed a loss after accident. In my mind it continued to perform well as a result of this. We now just purchased another older Terrain but an SLT2 for a great price and although will miss the old Terrain we had, we are looking forward to getting back on the road with the newer (older one)! I highly recommend looking around for older ones with mileage under 150K and the SLT models. The deals are really half of retail with newest ones and you still get a great SUV. Any downsides? Maybe the trunk space and GM usually has alot of minor recalls that has you going in for servicing but overall it was good to have the car checked regularly.

Can say enough about this vehicle, 2002 GMC Envoy SLT. It's been wonderful. Reliable, comfortable, it has never let us or our pocket book down.

I bought this terrain new I was sold on the sleek look I have approx. 85k Already had heater core go at 45k then the rad went at 80k it...my eco button stopped working at 2ok..... brakes last at about 85 k I'm due to replace rotors and pads front and back sent notice recall for wiper blades motors... I have Fwd and it handles good in winter and better with winter tires but t the inside is very tight if you have a winter coat its hard to move inside doesn't seem like roomy for suv have to take coat off sometime I'm average size woman .... not much room to put thing . Make sure you put tire sensor in winters as it disables anti slip and yellow caution pops up for tire pressure....paid for extended warranty at gm ....looking to unload for a different brand after this experience GM dealer has been hard to work with even after paying for the extra warranty

Driven a lot of gmc trucks over the years to plow with. Can't go wrong they are bullet proof. Never had a problem with the Allison transmission and I have put them to work. The engines are great too 6.6 v8 turbo. You make have the odd electrical problem here and there but nothing major from my experience.

The jimmy is a good secure vehicle, safe and reliable in all weather conditions. Vehicle is heavy and soundly built, will not feel unsafe.

Has served my family well over the last few years for comfort and reliability on road trips. Security of roof rack provides additional space. Swear by GMC.

Truck is great for heavy duty, and also very comfortable on the road for long trips. Great spacious, comfortable and reliable.

Love the Acadia. Great for a family of 5 and seats 7. Very reliable has never let us down. Liked it so much we just bought a new one.

I say truck because it's one of the last models of SUVs that is a 1/2 ton pickup frame with an SUV body. This vehicle can still tow about 6000 lb which is a lot more than most newer SUV's that are limited to small tent trailers.

Engine is solid and runs forever. fuel economy is a little worse than that of newer SUVs but given it's more of a truck, it's to be expected with more brute power.

I don't think I would change anything about this vehicle. owned one for 10 years with minor wear and tear but no major issues.

I was driving with GMC Safari 1991 over 4 years and spend only for 3 months -9000 km from Peterborough to Ottawa,london,Berry,Niagara falls and around Ontario. This car was very comfortable for travel, drive and safety.Car have big engine but never disappoint
