Crossfire Risdster
Our 2008 Crossfire joins a few other interesting cars in the garage - a 1971 Cadillac, 1931 Model A Ford and a 1997 Buick Riviera besides daily drivers and GMC 4X4. The little Crossfire is our summer toy and besides being fun to drive, it attracts (almost too much) attention by curious bystanders questioning "what is it?". We store the old cars in winter and are pretty careful about the roads we drive on. We didn't buy this as an investment, more to put some snap back into our road trips. This car has achieved that. One neighbour lady asked if I (age later 60s) was in mid-life crisis?..My reply was "I'm way past that - this is second childhood".

Fun Ride
I have owned this car for 3 years and every time I drive it, it rejuvenates me. It handles like a sports car should and has amazing acceleration. I get a true feel for the road due to the way this car sticks to the pavement. Truly the ride can be a little rough at times if the pavement is in poor condition as the suspension is stiff. I guess it has to be in order for it to handle the way it does.
Another reason for a lower comfort score is that I found the stock music system a little tinny in sound with not enough power for my liking so I change it out. The sub takes up a large portion of the trunk, but it is easily removed if needed.
This car is not my daily dive as I want to keep the miles low. I do not drive it in adverse weather and it is stored for the winter. I have had this unit performance tuned, highly recommended, with excellent results.
In closing, this car may not be for everyone because the cockpit is small, but if you fit in it and find one in good shape you will not be disappointed with it's style, handling and performance.

A Classic in the making
This car has been a dream, its fast and its stylish, The Mercedes hiding under the hood preforms without fault. and the only thing i would do to improve this car is to add the limbo door kits. Love this car

I love this car!!
I consider myself a "car gal", having owned and loved some of the world's most renowned cars - VW (new) Beetle and two Ford Mustang convertibles (1973 and 2009). My 2007 Crossfire Roadster (yellow with black top) checks all the boxes for car lovers - it's rare, no longer in production, sporty handling and sexy styling, fun to drive, great looking, good performance, and well built (essentially a Mercedes SLK320). All hallmarks of a collectible vehicle. I've had more compliments on this car in the 7 months I've owned it than in the total years I've had my other cars. I will never sell this baby.

An Awesome Car
I loved the look of the Crossfire the first time I saw it. Then I did the research and knew it was a great car. Built by Mercedes for Chrysler so you get the driving excellence and engine quality of Mercedes without the high price. Powerful ride that grabs attention with it's unique look. Not too many of these to be found and I'm sure with its quality and history the Crossfire it'll be a car collectors dream in the future!

Unbelievable cars for the price
This car is an absolute winner! Performance is great, relibility is great...Lots of fun to drive!! Driving exelence of a mecerdes with out the big cost. Only car I have ever owned that REALLY pulls you back in the seat with acceleration. It's is a shame Mercedes stopped building these cars for Chrysler, it is a true masterpiece of german (Mercedes) workmanship and quality, and will no doubt go on to be a true collectors item (since Mercedes and Chrysler have since had a falling out, and are no longer affiliated)

High End Performance Car with alot of Thrills
The Crossfire SRT6 is extremely rare and it sure is a privilege to drive one of these. You really get a feel for the car, it drives so smoothly, and is very relaxing. It's a dream to drive. I'd recommend this even for every day driving, and will really put yourself at ease.

SRT6 Hidden Gem
This is easily the best sports car available for the money. Loads of torque and horsepower, and handles great at any speed. While these were only made in 2005/6, most other manufacturers have not yet caught up to the performance available in this twin sister to the Mercedes AMG 320. Extremely reliable, and good on gas for normal highway cruising. Never before have I received so many positive comments about a car. Too bad that the joint venture with Mercedes ended so soon.

Crossfire
This car is gorgeous, always gets compliments. Comfortable seats with seat warmers. The hardest part has been having to deal with getting any extra parts as they are not as commonly available as other makes and models. For example, the front and back wheels are different sizes and a rare size for tires making it incredibly difficult or expensive to get winter tires!

One Hit Wondercar!
For those who don't know, the Chrysler Crossfire is a unique as well as rare car. First off, the Crossfire is basically a re-skinned Mercedes SLK320. Based on the Mercedes R170 platform, the Crossfire was created back in 2004 when Chrysler was called Daimler/Chrysler. The Crossfire was built to compete with the Nissan 350Z, Mazda RX8, and Honda S2000. Unfortunately, the Crossfire didn't do well in the marketplace. It was priced in Canada at about $50,000. Production stopped after four years. Fit and finish is great, although there are some hard plastics used on the dash that cheapen the otherwise classy interior design. Most found the Crossfire underpowered (the Crossfire came standard with a 3.2L 6 cylinder engine good for about 215 horsepower, while the 350Z and RX8 had 300HP and 218HP respectively). I saw the Crossfire at the Detroit Autoshow in 2004 and I knew I had to have it. I bought a gun metal grey Crossfire as its the fastest color ! I loved the fact that it didn't look like anything else on the road. The design was apparently inspired by the boat-tail cars of the 60's and 70's. Eight years later and the Crossfire still turns heads. The ride is firm, but not nearly as punishing as its competitors. It has a nice refined growl and Chrysler tuned it to drive completely different than the SLK. Gas mileage is adequate at 19 city and 21 mpg highway (premium fuel only). Currently I have about 60,000 km on the car, and it still drives like new. I only drive it 5 - 6 months out of the year, and have no plans to sell it. Later in the Crossfire's life, Chrysler created the SRT6 version which had more power thanks to a supercharged 6 cylinder engine. Unfortunately, this option was automatic only and I prefer to shift myself. That's why I opted for the 6 speed manual. It might have less power, but it's plenty quick. Zero to sixty takes just over six seconds. While I'm sad that the Crossfire is no longer produced, I feel lucky to be one of the few to own one!

2005 Chrysler Crossfire
This vehicle comes in some of the most unique colours for car exteriors and interiors. This vehicle has loads of bells and whistles, it even has a rear spoiler that adjusts itself with the speed you are going. The available Convertible top folds quickly and automatically in to the trunk so your good to go instantly. This car has plenty of pep and the power will surprise you. All around this is a great sports car.

It turns heads!
I love driving this car, and was very disappointed that my wife is making me give it up for something more practical. The drive-train and power seems very similar to my friend’s Mercedes, as they are built on the same chassis. I can say that they have obviously dumbed-down the interior style to avoid competition within the Mercedes line-up. Not to say it’s ugly inside, it’s just not luxurious. You definitely feel the road in this car, and I think it’s very similar to driving a go-kart. What I like - It’s low, quick, bumpy, fun, and I don’t go a month without someone saying “nice car”. What I don’t like is the premium gas, the gear box isn’t great, and the tires wear quickly (maybe that’s just my driving). Be warned, that there is a large blind spot in this car, but easily manageable once you get use to it.
