Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class 1977-2013Change

As far as Hard Top Convertibles go the SLK 350 is certainly the best in its class. Wow is all I can say!! Absolutely all the power, comfort, plus speed/control you can ever ask for.

I bought a 2007 SLK 2008 last year. I loved it so much I upgraded to a 2009 SLK 350 this year. The car is basically the same. Mercedes luxury and reliability in a very cute package. The 350 is noticeably faster off the line, at high speeds and handles better. These cars are selling for one third of their original cost just 10 years ago. I am sure that these cars will keep their value and become more desirable as the newer models become ever more expensive. It is a joy to drive and lots of fun with the top down. With the convertible hardtop up, it is quiet and secure when parked.

The SLK 350 handles just like a true roadster... responsive, powerful and exciting. The hardtop convertible provides comfort rain or shine. Mercedes engineering is truly superior.

One of the most enjoyable vehicles I have ever driven. Whether exploring the curves on a windy back mountain road or taking in the sun and sights as you make your way down the coast it was like a dream every time.

No reliability issues, no comfort issues, no issues at all really, except I wish I still owned one...

Have enjoyed driving this vehicle for the last two years. Would love to continue to but too costly to ship overseas for new job assignment. What an inexpensive way to look great in a vehicle and have all the power you need and the fun of a hard top in the winter and convertable in the spring, summer, and fall, at the touch of a button!

I've had a number of performance cars, both convertible and hardtop and the SLK is a great car. That said, there are always some compromises, no matter the brand or the model.

With the performance pack's stiffer suspension, you feel every expansion joint. Driving back to back with a BMW 335 Msport, the BMW feels like a luxury car.
The steering is quick but light and while very good, doesn't have the benchmark feel of best-in-class like a 911 or Cayman.
Fuel economy is typical for a high-performance car unless you leave it in ECON mode and suffer through auto start/stop and cylinder deactivation. Unfortunately this is auto-on from start up, requiring a press to deactivate (curious rationale to consider castrating this great V8.. if one was to use this mode often then a SLK350 would have been a better choice).

Performance is spectacular with tons of torque spinning the tires at will. Handling is nimble. The top drops quickly and there's plenty of technology like air scarf (heated air blown at the back of your neck) to keep you warm in colder weather. The trunk has a surprising amount of space with the top up; far more usable than 911.

this is the best sports car i experienced under $100000 price range . very good performance , cutting edge gadgets . excellent handling even in 210 km/h , its fun to drive . i recomend this car if you want to enjoy your driving . better than bmw , porsche , audi , camero under $ 100,000 range

I am really a big fan of sport small vehicle, and I would say SLK is the king of them. It is very comfortable and very reliable car, it would not break down easily

This is my first Mercedes and have nothing bad to say. It's a fantastic car that provides a sweet ride in the summer months. Definitely a head turner!

i think this car is a nice car. drives well and i love the setting. realy fast and fun to drive. comes in great colers and looks amazing. just a all around good car.

This car is unbelievable a smooth ride. It has an okay fuel economy. It does sort of use up fuel real fast sometimes. It's really comfortable. It's seatings are smooth, the air conditioning and heat is great. It looks beautiful from the outside and the inside looks fancy. It's very reliable and it doesn't break down easily. It goes on highways and roads smoothly.

i had a lot of fun training with my mom with this car. i also like its interior and exterior and now i know what car to buy when im 18

a convertible hard top two seater with a 360 hp v8 and dual exhaust its the best of both sport and luxury

Practicing to upgrade from my very old car and I love the Benz series. A little more in Gas prices, but worth it for the comfort, reliability and performance. Thank you Arbonne :-)
