great car to drive very comfortable and smooth. even it is v4 but its good in gas in the city and hwy

A smooth ride in a powerful engine. Love this car. Fuel economy is a little bad as compared to other V6 engines but you can clearly feel the difference when start on a green light leaving all vehicles behind.

This is a very reliable car. Fuel efficiency is great. It has been serviced regularly and will not let you down

I was really impressed with this car from the first time I sat in,
but it stilled didn't say anything about what a pleasure this car is to drive with the peppy yet economical 16 valve Hi performance 4 cylinder engine it has more than enough power to carry a car full of people and a trunk full of there things, and the thing still stops on a dime!

By far this car deserves just as much attention if not more than any Honda or Toyota as far as quality, comfort, and features for your hard earned money.

Anyone buying this car would surely have no regrets, but many years of driving pleasure!

I have been driving this car for the last 4 years after I purchased from Mitsubishi Scarborough (certified car).

I have driven to many long rides and never ever had any issues with the performance. It is always difficult to get a good car at a great price.

this car is comfy, and has a good space for a 3-4 people family.5 seats are perfect if my dauhgter has a friend over

this car is entering the second decenie of its lifespan and it is still running as good as new. it is very well maintainenced and could run for years to come. it does however show some signs of aging like when you try to to start it in freeeeezing weather, but for an old car like this, isn't it normal???

i like the feeling but the engine is verry noisy i have the 4 cylinder will by the 6 one nex time the inside is good and efficase the space is good

This is our second Galant. LIke it very much and the down shifting gears in winter use. Mistsubishi dealers are great to deal with. Seats adjust easily as 2 different drivers can handle the change well. I love the night dash which lights up real good for visibility of all gauges. We had the Outlander before this with all wheel drive and it was the best on hilly winter roads to gear down without braking.

Never had any major problems, reliable. Lots o f power good on highway. Need bigger vehicle or we would still be driving it. Wife babies it, never drove hard.

This has to be my best car yet! I feel like I am driving a cloud! Top notch! It's reliable, stylish, and it can drive!

This car has been great to us. This car has been great to my family. It's not the most stylish/ modern/ sporty car by a long shot but it serves it's purpose. It reliable and all it needs is the right care.

Have had this car for half a year now, its fun to drive and has a lot of power. The handling is fantastic. Problems with the heated seats, and needs premium gas are a couple of the down falls. However so far I am enjoying it.

For the most part this car has been reliable for me. It is a good mid range priced sedan. However, like all Mitsubishi vehicles you are deceived by the allure of the great free ten year warranty included. What they fail to explain to you is that through regular "maintenance", which at most times is unnecessary and expensive (ranging from $200-$500 per 10,000km-15,000Km), you will essentially end up paying for the warranty in the long run. This is on the hunch that during that ten year period something major goes wrong such as your transmission failing. As of 2010 the transmission would cost approximately $2,300. Now in ten years you are likely to pay for more in unnecessary maintenance than just to save your money and get you car tuned up when you actually need it.

The Galant looks good and rides very well
The four cylinder motor is not the most powerful but accelerates well and has reserve on the highway.
Best of all is the unbeatable 10yr/160 k warranty!

I bought this car brand new in 2004 and had it up until the end of 2011.

When Mitsubishi says they are the "Best Backed cars in the world"...they aren't kidding.

During my 7 years of ownership, I changed the tires and brakes once, outside of regular lube, oil and filtering servicing. Other than that there were no other issues related with this car.

A highly reliable car and glad that I owned and drove it for 7 years.
