Jeep Wrangler 1997Change

My TJ has been incredibly reliable. We purchased it at 200,000km, and drove it till 315,000k. Not a single serious issue. Only had to replace a single belt in it's entire lifespan. I can't imagine a more reliable vehicle for the Canadian cold. mine started in -45 without issue, it was truly a great experience.

took this jeep for a test drive the other day really liked it but unfortunately not purchasing it because need a four door family car.

I would say the only draw back is the gas milage, but considering that it is such a heavy duty 4 wheel drive, with a fully boxed in frame, it is still decent. Goes through just about anything in horrible weather without a sweat. Take the top off in summer, and hard top in winter, get the best of both worlds. Who dosen't like crusin down the freeway with the doors off, feels more like a motorbike. Very easy to work on and parts are usually cheap. Back seat comes out easily for more room, and is able to tow 7000ibs, Highly recommend

I love it. Its always been reliable, I can go anywhere with it, not too many things needing to be replaced of fixed.

It's a vehicle that anyone can learn to do anthing in. Not a bad ride would not really trade mine for anything. Fun in the summer and a good ride in the winter. Decent parts at a decent price if you know where to look .................. :)

ive had a jeep tj for almost 2 years now ive taken it through everything 3 feet of snow, to 2 feet deep puddles and not once has it died or shut down. best 4 wheel drive out there.

I bought it about a year ago haven't had any problems yet awesome in snow,mud,and around town i have installed a lift on it and on really windy days i try not to go on the highways much, first jeep i have ever owned and I'm now a jeep guy for life . The 4.0l puts out great heat in the winter (with the hard top) and a soft top is a must in the summer . Very happy with this jeep

this vehicle was good to us, it was 12 years old when i got it and while it had rusted floors and was a very noisy car to drive it always got us here we wanted to go, in the winter you will want to put cardboard in the front of the radiator to keep the heat in but overall a good car.

What a great summer cruizing car! With the roof off; wind blowing, it is a blast! A six speed gives you great control too!
And in the winter, great for height to see over those snowbanks!
The only downfall is changing the hard top roof to soft top and then removing that all together. A two person job and not very user friendly.
I would recommend for anyone looking for a fun driving car and reliablitiy!

Absolutely loved this car! Not the best in the winter but for a summer road trip its hard to beat the top off and no doors. A bit windy on the open road but it is a Jeep after all.

Fuel economy wasn't the greatest but the overall power and ruggedness of this vehicle make it worth while.

I wouldn't recommend a Jeep as your primary vehicle but if you have some cash to spare the Jeep Wrangler makes a great recreational vehicle.
